Laboratory Safety Manager
Responsible for continuing implementation of Indiana University’s comprehensive lab safety program facilitating research and non-research initiatives through policy development, training, and review of current lab practices. Together with Lab Safety Specialists, providing guidance to faculty and staff to achieve compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding laboratory safety in order to reduce risk to all IU personnel.

Responsible for direction and oversight of the Environmental Management and Public Health program areas for the university system.
Assistant Radiation Safety Officer
Manages the radiation safety audit program for laboratories, conducts radiation surveys at campus facilities, provides radiation safety training to IU researchers, operates the campus radioactive waste program, manages the personnel dosimeter program, calibrates radiation survey instruments, manages the receipt and distribution of radioactive material shipments, and responds to emergencies and other incidents involving radioactive materials or radiation-producing devices.
